Suitable Process Code for ASN

Hi.

Could somebody tell me which is the most suitable Basic Type for Inbound ASN ?

I think that it should be :

Message type : DESADV

Process code : DELS

Basic Type :DELVRY03

But there is another one:

Message type : DESADV

Process code : DESA

Basic Type :DESADV01

I would appreciate your input.

Hi InduBala,

I think this depends on what you want to update in your delivery. If this is not fully clear yet I suggest you take the DELVRY03 as this offers more functionality.

Hi,

For Inbound ASN you can use basic type DESADV01. We have used this basic type with an extension segment and a custom fumction module / process code.

Thank you John And Aveek for the responses.

I would like to use John's solution because DELVRY03 is for SAP rel 46A onwards, although the Process code DELS mentions DELVRY01 which is for rel 40A.

The DESADV01 is for the release 30A.
