Since the function module name begins with "y", it must be a custom function module. So I'm not sure what exactly it is used for. But you can easily insert a call to this function in your code. Go to transaction SE38 and open your program (change). From the toolbar, click on the "Pattern" button. Now select "CALL FUNCTION" and type in the name of your function module in the box. Hit enter or click the green checkmark. A call to function will be inserted in your code. Now it is up to you to determine what fields you want to pass. If you need to know what format the fields are in, you can go to transaction SE37 and type in the name of the function module. Click on the "Display" button. Go to the "Import" tab to see the fields that you should pass to the function module. Go to the "Export", "Tables", and "Changing" tabs to see the fields that the function module will pass back to you. From SE37 you can also access any documentation that was written about the function module. While displaying the function module, go to the menu bar and select "Goto --> Documentation". I hope this helps.

- April King
