BDC Recording

Hi all,

I am working on BDC Recording for the first time.I have a custom screen to the SAP Standard programme, Customer master.

When I do the recordings I cannot go to the Custom Screen.

Can anybody tell me how to deal with this issue.

In my Customer mmaster data transfers , I have Credit master data which I cannot do with XD01.

CAn anyone provide me the trnx for creating credit master.I was trying to use Fd32 but didn't work out.

I will appreciate the answers by rewarding points...............

HI Mili,

It is not possible to see the Custom things in recording...

You have to enter the Custom Screen data into tables using UPDATE statements or some other way through your program.

Thank you for the valueable input.

Another quick question, I did the recording in sm35 and generated the programme.

In the ABAP programme I can INSERT my custom screen using PERFORM bdc_dynpro and ZZfields using PERFORM bdc_field.

Does it work in that way?

Hai mili C,

Just try to make link between the sceens(present screen-->next sceen).

You can do this by definginmg in the PBO and PAI Modules and by using the call screen before you do recording.

Once the flow sequence is defined,You can solve the problem.

Thanks for the quick response......

I didn't get exactly what you trying to expalin, can you try to elaborate your explanation......

My customer requirement is to have a button on the MENUBAR, so that they can call that screen and they don't want to come up this screen between the screens(present screen-->next sceen).

So I designed it that way.........
