Primary key field

Hi Friends,

I have created a table and screen to input in the table details of PO. When I input details of PO., The PO number should accept N number of times as the same PO has differenct invoices, But I am unable to do it. Can any one guide me how to do it.

Hi,

delete that field and create a new field without primary key option. then only You can solve your problem. Thanks.

Hi,

I hope you have created a Ztable..

See if the PO field is the only primary key then it accepts only one unique data for it..

I think you can put Po header and Po item as primary key..

eg: let poh is header field and poi is the item field./.

so both of these fields shopuld be primary keys in your Ztable and then it accepts unique combination of both..

now you can give in your Ztable as

POH POI quantity etc..

100 A1 1000

100 A2 1002

100 A3 1005

101 A1 4000

101 A2 4002

100 A1 200 .. this line is not accepted

if PO number field is key field , then just try to change that key field to secondary key field, it solves your problem

Make the required field as non-primary key field.
