What is idoc reprocessing?

Hi all,

What is meant by reprocessing an idoc?and how do i do it? Please refer to documents/files or threads if needed... but i just want to find the basic steps. I get idoc issues in my sap inbox (workflow)..

Reprocessing IDOC may involve selection of errored /corrected idocs again and process them using a special program:

One such program is RBDPROCESS.

Hi,

You can use the Tool or T code WE19 for reprocessing the same IDOC.

You can re-process or re-execute any existing IDOC and can also call the IDOC processing function module in debugging mode to step through the process.

This can be done in transaction WE19.

Give the IDOC number and you can see the content of the segments and call a function module.

hi charles,

v use BD87 to reprocess an idoc.

if the status code is 64, v want to reprocess the idoc using bd87 r using rbdapp01.

Hi,

Reprocessing IDoc means allowing you to reprocess an error IDoc due to incorrect ALE/IDoc configuration (i.e. incorrect partner profile setup) or incorrect master data setup/incoming input data.

Please use standard program RBDINPUT to reprocess inbound IDoc(s) and RBDOUTPUT for outbound IDoc(s).

Select the failed IDOC and go to BD87 to reprocess an idoc. Before that you have to analyse and do the necessity steps then go to the specified Tcode to reprocess the idoc to make it successful
