Customer Master BADI

Hi all,

With reference to the subject, i'm in the process of adding a new subscreen to Customer master. New fields will be appended to KNVV and will be added to the new subscreen.

In the process, i was able to create append the new fields and add them to the new subscreen. I have two issues to that.

1. I'm unable to save the field values to KNVV

2. Even for XD03, the fields are editable.

I followed what ever is given in Note # 577502 and earlier postings.

If any one could throw some light to this, that would be great.

I shall award the points to solutions.

Try checking out IMG-> financial accountiing->Accounts receivable and acounts payable -> Master records-> Preparations for creation of customer master records

-> Define screen layouts per activity-> check the related acticity (display customer )...

and check if you can change your field visibilty options from there.

Hello Vinodh ,

I got the same requirement ..i.e as follows.

I have to append around 18 fields to KNVV structrure and then the fields have to be palced in customer master sales (vd01) tcode under sales area tab .

Onemore issue is that The additional fields must be in an additional tab under sales area tab .

So atlast my requirement is that addtion od a tab under sales area tab with the fields from knvv structre .

I tried it using SPRO settings but i could nt get it ...but i got the same as extra button on application tool bar.

If u have anyidea on this can you please adivse me on the same .

regarding u r issue one guy has given the settings needs to be done in SPRO IMG Refernce .

Follow those steps u will get the solution .

Hi,

Even my requirement was the same, but later after some study i cam to know that its not possible with modifying the code. So i convinced my user to have the functionality as a new Button on the tool bar. On pressing the button, we get new subscreen with upto 32 tabs on it.

So i'm here ........

Well, i followed all the steps and was able to get the fields on the screen.

I'm missing updating the field value to database and fields being in display mode in Xd03 or Vd03.

plz try below snippet for XD03, the fields are editable.

MODULE SCREEN_VALIDATION.

In XD03 transaction, all the screen fields are maintained in display mode.

IMPORT I_ACTIVITY TO G_ACTIVITY FROM MEMORY ID 'ZACT'.

IF ACTIVITY EQ 'A'.

PERFORM F0100_SCREEN_ACTIVE_CHANGE.

ENDIF.

PERFORM F0100_SCREEN_ACTIVE_CHANGE.

LOOP AT SCREEN.

IF SCREEN-GROUP1 = C_GROUP1.

SCREEN-INPUT = C_SCREEN_DISABLE.

ENDIF.

MODIFY SCREEN.

ENDLOOP.

Did you manage to get around the problem you described earlier.

If yes can you give me some clues please. I have the same kind of requirement.
