User exit MV45AFZZ - Unable to modify the code

Hi,

I am working in ECC 6.0 version and new to this editor.

I need to do some changes in include MV45AFZZ,when sales order is saved.

When i try to go to change mode,program is asking for 'Access key'.

Whether i need to get 'Access key' from SAP,or is there any procedure for doing code changes in this exit?

Please help.

Hi,

Ask your basis guy to provide the access key for that program.

with the help of sap.com

Hi Seshagiri,

To modify the User exit MV45AFZZ you need to get the Access Key from the Basis.

The Basis Team will Generate the Access Key so that you can make the changes .User exit MV45AFZZ is not yet Used so that why its asking the Access key.

normally, developer can access the code using SE38.

if u dont have permissions u need to get in touch with ur basis guys and get the access key. aternatively, u can goto SAP service place and get the access key and implement the same and can proceed with ur changes.

Hi,

you can get the Access Key from the table DEVACCESS. go to SE16 and give this table name and then give your USERID and execute. if already AccessKey is created by BASIS the you can find an entry.

In SAP - 4.6C version,normally we used to do changes in user exits with "INCLUDE Zxxxxxxxxx" programs,without access key.

So my doubt is whether will there be any such exit,with Zinclude in this case also(instead of MV45AFZZ?).

Else,i will ask for access key as you said.

Hope you can recollect me.

I assume you are talking about developer access key,which i already got from BASIS.I have used it for the first time and created a test program also.

But the problem is with this user exit changes.

Shall i have to use ask for another access key specific to this standard program changes?

Will there be any "include Zxxxxxxxxx" program which will not ask access key?

Generally for the first time if you are changing the MV45AFZZ program it will access for the key

once it is changed generally it won't ask next time.

So you might be changing for the first time, that's why it is asking

take and do it
