BADI ERR MESSAGE Process - MIRO for field SECCO - Section Code

Hi friends:

I want to display error message in a badi,

for tcode - MIRO, Entering Incoming Invoice.

The badi definition is: MRM_HEADER_CHECK

The code is:

METHOD if_ex_mrm_header_check~headerdata_check .

IF I_RBKPV-SECCO EQ SPACE.

I_RBKPV-SECCO = '9999'.

Message e888(sabapdocu) with 'Check Section Code !!!'.

endif.

endmethod.

The problem is the user can not modify the invoice after got the error message.

Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

Hi minaxi,

Can u make the situation litlle more clear? here in ur code after the error message is displayed the transaction will be exited.so the user will not be allowed to modify the invoice.
