'set parameter id' in user exit

hi, guys,

now i am trying to set defalut value using a user-exit, but i can not find a proper user-exit for that field, so i tried to use 'set parameter id' to give the default in the function exit, but the value was set (can be seen at the system area) but it did not show on the screen.

so i was wondering where i am wrong, or the statement 'set parameter id' can not be used in the function exit?

i am looking forward to...

i dont know what is your requirement you can do this only at PBO of that screen if you can find any fn module exit which will trigger at PBO of that screen and get the field in the parameters of the fn module then just assign the value to that field.. or for set param also you have to do it in PBO of the screen..

Hi,

<b>It does not matter</b> where you use "SET PARAMETER ID". The reason it is not showing might be that, after you ate setting the parameter id with some value, somewhere it is getting cleared out.

Let me know which user-exit, parameter id , transaction and field you are talking about here. I may be able to help.

hi RS

now i am using IW51 to create a service notification and want to give a default value the main(tenance) work center, i have not found the proper user-exit, i just found the PBO two are IWOC0001& QQMA0019

and i do think it is cleared somewhere

These are the user exits for IW51.Check with these.

Exit Name Description

IWO10026 User check on setting status 'Do not perform'

IWO10027 User exit: Generate user-defined settlement rule

IWOC0001 Create PM/SM notification: Determine reference object

IWOC0002 PM/SM notification: Check whether status change is allowed

IWOC0003 PM/SM authorization check of ref. object and planner group

IWOC0004 Change single-level list editing PM/QM/SM ALV settings

Hi,

The thing is, you have to use a user-exit which triggers in the PBO of screen where you want to default this cost center value.

I was not able to find such user-exit. Can you please tell me on transaction IW51, where exactly this field is? We do not use this transaction so give me the flow, how you reach to this field on IW51. I will research some more based on your information if there is any user-exit available or not.

thanks for concerning. Now my requirment is when creating service notification, the field 'Main(nenance) Work Center' and its 'Plant' should be given a deafult value according to the notification type or the prioirty, so i need two user-exits can change these fields, one happens at PBO, one is PAI. but there is just does not has such proper user-exits.

Now i am tring to use BADIs, but 'IWO1_WKCTR_CHANGE' happens can not be implemented.
