Changing a field text in a standard program

Hi friends,

i had copied the total standard program into z program.In the program output layout one coloumn ( field name is 'text for priority' and length is 40 ) is showing empty. Now i need to add the 'custome purchase order' field(vbkd-bstkd) in program output by replacing text for priority coloumn.i am successfully passing the custome purchase order values into the 'text for priority' coloumn but i am not able to change the fieldheading of 'text for priority' to 'custome purchase order'.

is it possible to change the fieldheading? please help me.

hI BHARAT..

The column heading is coming from the short/medium.long text of <b>DATA elememt</b> that u have taken ...so change the field type with the 'vbkd-bstkd'...

if the headings are <b>hard coded</b> or given as text element...u need to manually change it.

Check TOP-OF-PAGE event.

delete 'text for priority' and write 'custom purchase order'.

Hi,

Check and Change the TEXT elements or Column headings of the fields in the

program for that field to display your own text.

Hi,

the headings are not hotcoded. the headings are coming directly from the function module 'reuse_alv_fieldcatalog_merge' inside of that function module standard structure 'RFPOSXEXT' is used.But in that structure there is no custome purchase order field.Then how to modify that text for priorrity to customer purchase order.
