I have uploaded an image to use it as a logo in an smartform. At the SE78 transaction looks good but when I see it in the smartform looks distortioned. Originally was an JPG image, what can I do?

Greetings

hi ,

Graphics to be used in forms must first be stored on the Business Document Server (BDS) of the SAP System (as a bitmap image or TIFF). The transaction code SE78 is used for this purpose. Applications graphics include:

  Logos

Preprinted forms that are scanned in as background pictures

rgds

Deepak.

Convert the logo to TIFF file format first and then use it...it will work fine.

Ketan

Hi,

There is no standard specification for logo in SAP. You can either upload BMP or TIFF logo. I would suggest you to upload logo in BMP format.

In terms of size and resolution this is how you can order .BMP types

                       Size Resolution
                       --------- ------------
Monochrome bitmap Lowest- 1 Lowest- 1
16 Color bitmap 2 2
256 Color bitmap 3 3
24- bit Bitmap Highest-4 Highest-4

If you do not care about color of logo, use "Morochrome format". If you care about color go for "24- bit Bitmap".

Try to create a logo with different DPI and see which looks ok. I recommend 600 DPI.

Regards,

RS

Hi,

I think that, perhaps, there are some problem with the resolution. There is one option when you add a logo, for fixing the resolution (DPI) If you want expand the logo image, the resolution will decrease. So, you can use this param for ajust the image and achieve the image looks fine.

Regards

Jaime
