Hi All

I have a problem with distribution of HR master data with ALE

I have setup the ALE scenario (messagetype HRMD_A) and distributed hr master data and Org structure data from HR to FI.

The data is successfully posted in FI but when you try to create a record of infotype 105 then it gives the following error “No entry in table T500P for 1400”.

The reason is that the personnel areas (table T500P) in FI are not the same as HR.

Is there some sort of mapping or configuration sync that I need to perform in order to duplicate the Personnel areas from HR to FI.

I can’t just add the personnel areas to FI as there already exists personnel areas with the same key as in HR but has different meanings.

How can I solve this problem?

I think you are using fm RH_MASTER_IDOC_DISTRIBUTE_HRMD for distributing HRMD_A, you can find customer exit within this fm.

Check whether you can able to use these exit to duplicate T500P ?

I am facing the same kind of problem. Please see if you can help me to resolve it.

I need to distribute Personnel Area to a different SAP system. HR master data can be distributed using change pointers and HRMD_A message type. I observed (using transaction WE30) that only Infotypes are linked with HR message sements. Personnel Area is however stored in T500P. Any pointers on how to distribute Personnel Areas? Also I could not find Personnel Area listed under the distributable data list but I still believe that this should be distributable. I appreciate the time you might spend to help me.
