Hi Kumar,

Check this info.

1., 2. Scripts and Smartforms are the forms used to display the output of the report depending on the customer( or Client Requirement). Reports can be called into Scripts using the PERFORM command, and Scripts can be called into Reports using the Driver Program which is associated with every script.

5. BAPI's are new compared to BDC and also far better. Will send y some docs if required.

7., 8. Use the SMARTSTYLES T code and in that we have character formats , there we can specify a barcode as per our requirement.

1. how to call sap script in reports & reports in sap script?

Calling sapscript from a report through FM open_form, write_form,close_form

Calling report from sapscript PERFORM and ENDPERFORM

2. what is different between sap script & reports?

Sapscript is used where you want to create some printouts or letters or invoices etc

Reports are used where you wnat to just view the data for some purpose

3. what is stack?

4. what is the defination of ALE RFC?

hi,

1. how to call sap script in reports & reports in sap script?

we can call sapscript in reports using the FM

open_form - to begin as form

start_form - to begin any particular page

write_from - to write to a window

end_form - to close that opende page

close_from - to end the form

control_form - to control the flow of form

open_from and close_form should be used only once.... we can use the variable from an repot in an script for that we have to use like this

&tablename-field& the fields should be enclosed inside "&"

2. what is different between sap script & reports?

sapscript is used to define layout so that we can take printout according to the format we want but in reports we dont have any option for design layout

4. what is the defination of ALE RFC?

ALE - Application LInk enableing this is used for sending data from server to server.

RFC - Remote function call this is used to call an FM which is defined in some other server .

7.how we add barcode in smart form.

there is some option for adding barcode in the smatform ...just see it

9.What is Field sysmbol ?

these r like pointer in C language

data a type i value 10.

field-symbol <f>.

assign a to <f>.

<f> = 20.

write a.

(no u will get the result 20 we r modifing 'a' using the field symbol <f>)
