GUI status

Hi,

I have the requirement to copy a report from another system. That report has some GUI application tool bar etc. exists. I copied the report into destination system. But how to copy or attach the GUI related things.

U need to copy that also .. from SE41. in the same way as u coopied the program..

Goto SE41 and give the program name... give the status name or press F4 after giving the program name .. then it lists all the status that program has.. now copy the one which u want !!

Gui status is tied directly to programs, so that said, you want have to tie this gui status to a program, then transport the program. So if you have a gui status that you want to use that is tied to standard program, create a "Z" program, then you can copy the gui status from the standard program to the "Z" program. Now you can transport the "Z" program to this other system, then you can copy the gui status from the "Z" program to where ever you need it in the other system. Make sense. I'm assuming that this other system is outside of the DEV->TST->PRD heiracrchy.

You can copy the gui status using SE41. Click User Interface, Copy, Status.

But dont forget to activate the GUI status and all those things for the new program

GUI also u can download to desktop , check for options to download in SE41.

if these systems in landscape , thru Transport request u can get it .

If you have a Transport Path from PRD to DEV system ,

Then If you are moving that Program then the Gui status will also be moved ,and

make sure that you are activating the GUI status also along with the program in the Dev system
