Bapi for Infotype 0014

Hi all,

I want to use a bapi for infotype no 14

The user would enter some data in EP screen. the data from there would come and get stored in infotype 14 after all standard checks and if any error message appears, the bapi would have to throw it to the EP. If the update is successful, it has to throw a message to EP saying 'data updated successfully'.

Please suggest if there is any standard bapi is there or should I create a new one? Please suggest some coding as well.

You can use the FM HR_INFOTYPE_OPERATION. This is Not a BAPI.

So, what you can do it to encapsulate this FM in a RFC Wrapper Function module and use that wrapper RFC function module.

i think standard BAPI is there ,check Tcode BAPI or se37 search for BAPI

if u want to create thru FM as Ravi told u , then check

if BAPI is not there , then u can create a new one.

Are you running on ITS services or you have developed a BSP application by yourself? If you are using ITS, you shouldn't need to do anything, it works like PA30

Well the scenario is like this : - the employee should see the infotype 14 screen on his EP logon when he clicks on a link - Pa30 screen should not appear to him as such but he should directly jump to infotype 14 screen in the create mode.

Wheather we should create a separate screen in EP for this or wheather we can call this infotype 14 screen directly in EP??????
