Hi,

we have to provide one link in the body of mail which is triggering to LotusNotes of user.If we click that link then SAP standard screen has to open.In which way we can acheive this.

Hi Asmitha,

This FM is used for sending mail. FM - SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1.

Go thorugh FM Documentation also u will get a clear idea.

This function module is used for sending mail either to SAP inbox or to any other Mail ID of a particular user.

Your case: The mail body should contain a hyperlink. On clicking that hyperlink a webpage should be opened and some instructions need to be shown in it.

For achieving the same we need to do some HTML coding which should be passed as text elements to the mail body. Another important thing is Doc_type. In this FM there are five tables which need to be populated. One is Packing_List, doc_type comes in that. HTML code will be recognized only if we pass doc_type as HTM.

end the mail through the FM SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1,

To activate the link use the FM WS_EXECUTE

also try

U can use fm 'SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1' to send e-mail then use document type as 'HTM' in exporting parameters and move the link into a variblae say LINK and use it as follows:- See documentation of above mentioned FM used to send e-mail.. then use like this wa_objcont = '

Date:-'. APPEND wa_objcont TO objcont. CONCATENATE sy-datum6(2) '.' sy-datum4(2) '.' sy-datum+0(4) INTO wa_objcont. APPEND wa_objcont TO objcont. wa_objcont = 'Text to link'. APPEND wa_objcont TO objcont. hope this helps reward if helpful.

my requirement is like this....whenever i click the link which is present in the body of mail,the solution-manager with version 4.0 screen has to open.....
