SMOD is the transaction that lists out all the enhancements that are available in the system.

These enhancements have to be activated and implemented, this activation and ikplementation is done from CMOD

Hi Chandra,

In order to use a user exit first you have to create a project name .

Go to CMOD~~>Give a short text~~>click on enhancementbutton-->then it would take you to screen with enhancement field and text ..there you have to give that particular <b>user exit</b> name and then you have to activate the same.

Then only you can <b>write the code in the user exit in SMOD.</b>

CMOD is the Project Management of SAP Enhancements (i.e., SMOD Enhancements). SMOD contains the actual enhancements and CMOD is the grouping of those SMOD enhancements.

SMOD is use to search for an particular userexit

CMOD is used to develop an new project for an user exit where u can write ur codeing
