Hi all,

i'm trying to export data to MS Access using the functions

STRUCTURE_EXPORT_TO_MSACCESS

and

TABLE_EXPORT_TO_MSACCESS

The first function is to create the SAP structure in MS Access and the second i want to use to populate the MS Access database with records.

The problem i'm having is that i keep getting the error 'Object required' and 'Runtime error 31037 when loading file'. I have checked the DLL and OCX related to the runtime error but couldn't find anything strange.

It tried running my program with:

a. no database.MDB

b. existing database.MDB but without any tables in it

I was wondering if anyone experienced the same problem and if so, how did you solved it?

Before anyone asks:

yes, the OpenPS MSAccess interface is installed.

yes, the RFC destinations are defined and tested correctly

yes, the RFC DSK is installed

but,

no, i even can't create the SAP structure using RIACCESS (get the same error messages). Not even with some self-defined DDIC object or for instance table MARA.

Kind regards,

Guus Werinussa

If using MS-Access 2003, you need to download the new executables attached to note 826163. This is true even if you are using SAPGUI 710+, as it contains older versions of the files (regardless of the date stamps!).

Otherwise, the executable raises and "Object Required" error, then SAP generates message JO 703.
