am learning Work Flow.

now i am doing work flow which given SAPTECHNICAL.COM the first one

Building a simple Workflow application using the steps "User Decision" and "Mail".

in 5th step

After entering Abbr as DEMOWF and

Name as Demo_WorkFlow in Give your New a Name Task Pop-up box i am getting error

Prefix number: entry missing for system ICS client 800.

can anyone gives me any idea, if anyone clears this doubt full points will be given

if anyone has Real scenarios, pls mail to vijayalaxmi_madiwala@yahoo.co.uk

Hi,

Before start of the development activities you must check the Workflow Customizing.

This can be done at SWU3. Defining the prefix for your workflow objects is one of the many tasks that you must perform (automatically or manually) before starting developing workflow objects.

hi vijaya,

the problem is with the SAP settings. Before developing a workflow we have to check the customisation settings. this is achieved automatically or manually using tcode SWU3. when execute the automatic customisation button all the red buttons should turn green otherwise u cant proceed.
