Select/Endselect vs Open Cursor/Fetch/Close

Hi all,

can anyone explain the diference between select/endselect and Open/Fetch/Close in Open SQL ? (don't need the definition of each of the statments in SAP Help, thanks !)

Hi,

Select and endselect is treated as a loop.

Open: opening the sql

Fetch: fetch the data from database

Close: close the opened sql
