transporting standerd variant

Hi Guys,

How to transport the variant one server to another server.

Using the programe RSTRANSP we can transport.But it will allow only user created variants.

My problem is I want to transport SAP standerd variants.(Like SAP&_AUTH,SAP&_BENU)

Is there any solution?

Hi!

SAP standard variants are made by SAP. They has to be the same in all systems, in all clients, because they are installed in the beginning. At least that's SAP's theory, that's why the program doesn't copy these variants.

If you modify them in a developer system, you also have to modify them in the productive system.

The best is not using SAP standard variants, copy them and made the modifications in your own variants. You can copy these at least.
