display single record in multiple lines

Hi,

I have requirement to display each record in two lines on ALV , like some of the fileds of record in one line and rest of other fields on second line.How can i do it using ALV. see the format for each record, pls suggest solution

material, qty, plant, storage loc >>>>>>>>in first line

mat description, warehouse , mat class >>> in second line

Hi Vipin,

Try using REUSE_ALV_HIERSEQ_LIST_DISPLAY function module to display as the hirerachical sequential alv list.

Check this example BALVHD01. This might solve your problem as per my understanding.

Hi Vipin,

You can do it using Hierarchial sequential list display . To do that first of all get the data into two internal tables and then build the field catalog . Remember here for both the internal tables u should have only one field catalog as u r going to show the contents of both the itabs together , so merge the two tables on the same field catalog . Then u have to build the key info structure stating the common fields in the two internal tables . Now pass all these information to reuse_alv_hierseq_list_display function module .
