BDC in Background

Hi,

I am processing a BDC recording for VA02 transaction.In this recording I am getting Warning and Information messages while processing.

I want to know If I process the session in background will it save the values in VA02?

Yes, it will save the document.

Hi,

No problem.

You can ignore the Warnings and Information messages.

In background, it will save the values.

Run for one or 2 records in background and check in SM35, whether the records are saved or not to confirm.

Hi Sumi,

When you get the messages it means that your program is being processed and updated, But if you want to check the status go to SM37 and you can go for your specified job created for the program.

Hi Sumi,

BDC will save the document if the messages are only Warning/Information.

If the messages are of type Error, then it wont save the document.

Hi Experts,

It will save the all records in to the corresponding tables.

If any error is there it will stop the execution when u use the calltransaction that is if u provide the mode as 'Error mode'.

In case of session method it will continue the execution and if any error is there it will store it in logmode.
