Hi,

Can someone give me the detail steps involved in IDOCs creation??

How do we check if the logical message has the idoc attached to it?

refer the Book by ARAVIND & NAGPAL for learning ALE/EDI/IDOC's. this is very useful book.

using we20 ie partner profile we can create idoc

and it consist of several steps.

1. Enter Partner number as "logical sys name"

2. Partner Type as LS

3. In Post Processing: Permitted Agent tab

Enter Type as US

Agent as SAPUSER

Lang as EN

From the Outbound Parameter

for in bound parameter

From the Inbound Parameters

1. Enter Message Type as RSINFO

2. Process code as RSIN

3. Select Transfer Idoc Immediately

4. Save and Back.

here the messgae code and process type will differ based on ur requirement

before that u have to crete a port number using the t code we21

1. Enter Message Type as RSRQST

2. Packet Size as "1"

3. enter Receiver port as "A000000009" ur port no

4. Select Transfer Idoc Immediately

5. Enter Basic type as "RSREQUST"

6. Save and Back.

based on ur requirement this basic idoc will differ
