hello,

i am modifying a smartform..in that while displaying line items, in the amount column the values are not displaying exactly one below the other....pls tell me how to format it...

Hi Maya,

U see whether the allignment of amount col is left or right allinged w.r. t to beside(left side) column. If it is right alligned probabaly u may get the correct allignment.

u can use the template node if u have fixed number of line or

use table for variable lines

For amount and Quantity kind of data you have to use right alingment.

then only the figues look relavent.

Create a character format in your current style with right aligned.

Assign this to the Text Node in your Table Cell for the amount field.

u can find it in general attributes of Text Element, there u can find a drop down 'Paragraph formats'.

if u didnt find that, create a 'SmartStyle' and create a paragraph format with right alignment.

To create a smart style, t-code is SMARTSTYLES. u just eneter there , everything there is self explonatory.

Hi Maya,

You can assign the amount to field to a global field of type 'STRING' and use the global field to print the amount field wherever u want.

HELLO Balakrishna,

now am assigning it to a string and trying to display the string value..

&amt(R)& but its displaying left justified....how to right justify the string value..

now its working fine....but i have one more question...

i have assigned my z form name in NACE settings....while assigning this i have created a transport request....now that request is not found in SE09..... y its not there in SE09... its automatically transported or what might be the reason?

Maya,

that request comes under Customzing request..... so when u enter in se09 ot se10 for displaying request.... check customizing check box also, and then disply the requests.

chec d alignment of d windows,,,and also dont believe in d print preview format...always tak a copy of d print,,,coz der will b slight changes wen compared 2 d print preview and output copy
