Which system field contains the current program name... like sy-cpage contains the current page number???

There are two fields that can differ

SY-CPROG ABAP program, caller in external procedures

SY-REPID ABAP program, current main program

Let's explain

SY-CPROG (MAIN program)

The name of the current program and name of the calling program within a procedure.

SY-REPID (CURRENT program)

Name of the current ABAP program.
