Mandatory fields in a segment (IDOC)

Hi,

Could you tell me how to find out which fields are mandatory in a segment in an IDOC.

Go to WE30 transaction.

Double click on the segments to see the minimum occurances value. If it is > 0, the it is mandatory.

Hi,

Please go to transaction WE30 and give the corresponding IDoc type and enter. Then you will get all segments for that IDoc type then double click on segment. A popup box will come in that it will show a check box whether it is a mandatory segment or not. And segment editor button will give all the field details.

Hi,

Please check table IDOCSYN for mandatory fields with field MUSTFL = 'X' and field IDOCTYP = <your IDoc type>.

Hi,

Goto we30 and you will select your required segement and double click on this then it will give popup box in the popup box there is a check box as

<i><b>MANDATORY SEG</b></i> .If this box is checked then it is mandatory otherwise it is not mandatory.
