    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;hi&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;KMAT (Confugurable material) is a type of material which should be configured.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;these type of materials are created which contains many other materials attached to it.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;this KMAT type of materials actually indicate the general features or generic properties of material. these features of the material are reflected when used this MATNR to create instance materials or other kind of materials. other features are added in the specific materials to fulfill the properties...&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;hope you got some idea.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;thx&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;pavan&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

What are the differences.       <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This is purely A MM related terminology which is used in Material master/Inventory of materials.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;KMAT means configurable material. Means you can set the classification for this material using the Variant configuration.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;For example take a car: you can define, color, cc, gears etc as classification.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Catalog number  and Intelligent part number are also other attributes of the Material ,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Reward if useful.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;regards,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Anji&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
