Dear guys

I am using ME23n screen and its giving me dump due to a negative value on a table control GOITEM-BPMNG.

Basically we r using Oil Specific solution and quantity issue can decrease with quantity received due to high temperature. When system takes difference of two quantities i.e quantity issued and quantity received it becomes a negative quantity and system gives a DYNPRO CONVERSION ERROR.

Does any body have solution for above prolbem becuase I think QTY data type donnot accept negative values.

Hi,

To avoid the dump, you should enter the positive values in Qty field.

So put some condition before that qty field such that, whenever that qty field finds a negative sign, multiply it with '-1' such that it becomes positive and the field accpts that value. But what about the qty field value, if it becomes +ve in the case of negative.
