hai friends,

Pls give the difference between Select options & ranges.

select option you can select only one entry

select range you can select a range of entries in which you can exclude some entries

for example you need to select 1 to 10 excluding 5 to 8 and also 3.

Hi,

For example you want to select a cost center 500,600 and 700.As all three do not follow a sequence,you go to select option and select them individually.This is select option.

On the other hand,you want to process the payroll for employees with No:1-100;here you need not to enter the numbers individually.You choose " select range" give the value 1 to 100.This is Select range.
