Regarding data

Hi Folks,

I had installed SAP in my PC. How to load the data into database using VA01, ME21N transactions? For Which transaction I have to enter before those transactions? coz I have to load the data like Vendor, Company code etc must be there in the corresponding tables so that i can enter the data throught VA01, ME21N transactions?

Ravi,

I think u have installed a development cd instead of IDES. So u will not have data which are required to work on.

u have to use t/c SPRO to define and configure, company code, company etc.

Get help from any functional consultant to create those configuration part.

so that u can able to create vendor or purchase order using the defined company code and other details.

I Suggest you to laod the IDES cds so that by default the data is available with that.

You have instal IDES to get the basic data, otherwise u have configure via SPRO. If u start the process of SPRO then u will get lot of knowledge.

ravi,

doing the configuration work in SPRO is a lengthy process, which is meant for the functional consultants. Functional consultants, main work is to define and assign the required information, so try to get help from a functional consultant.

Otherwise try to get a book in SD and start studying the concepts of customizing for defining and assigning the components required for the company code.
