how many fields we can have in a table?is there any limit?wats the limit?

A lot, there is not a limit on the fields, but a limit on the entire structure or length of all the fields in the table defintion.

Hi Sunil,

A table may not have more than 249 fields. The sum of all field lengths is limited to 1962 (whereby fields with data type LRAW and LCHR are not counted).

Hi,

I think there is no limit for no. of fields for a ztable/structure (I could be wrong).

The sum of all field lengths is limited to 1962

(whereby fields with data type LRAW and LCHR are not counted).
