Reconciling a source list

Hi,

Can someone tell me how i'm supposed to reconcile the entries in a source list. I'm able to enter all the data records in ME01, but I finally get the message asking me to reconcile the records. Can you tell me if there's something I've not done?

Hi,

As far as My knowledge is concerned just you have to reconcile the data once again. Means check the data that is upload inthe system, whether it is correct in all aspects or not in Table EORD. Check for any duplicate records.

Hi Poornima,

I also had the same problem with SL (ME01). The problem is due to - One or more source list records contain(s) conflicting data.

In this case for the same period of the time if the source (vendor) are same then this message pops. Remove the duplicate vendors in this case.

Yes, but I dont get the concept of reconciling the records. I'm a fresher. So, can u please tell me y is it done n wat it means?
