OPEN_DATASET_NO_AUTHORITY ---Help!

hi,all,

One of my program happened to get a runtime error OPEN_DATASET_NO_AUTHORITY after Basis changed some of the configurations.

Blow is my code:

DATA : c_date(8),

c_time(8),

p_file LIKE rlgrap-filename.

MOVE : sy-datum TO c_date,

sy-uzeit TO c_time.

CONCATENATE '/oracle/rmx_app/bill_log/' c_date c_time '_billing_log.txt'

INTO p_file.

OPEN DATASET p_file FOR OUTPUT IN TEXT MODE ENCODING DEFAULT.

The error was produced in this statement 'OPEN DATASET p_file FOR OUTPUT IN TEXT MODE ENCODING DEFAULT'.I'll get runtime error message while Basis not when run this statement.

So,I am sure the lost of some authority configurations lead to this error.Could anybody tell me how to get the authority back? The Basis and I do not know where and how to make out this authority.

Maybe you can try to use Transaction SU53 after you execute the program. That way you will get list of authorization object that you lack of. Hope it help.

Hi,

First check in <b>SU53</b> Transaction for which Auth Object there is no authorization for you.

Once you know that auth Object, go to <b>PFCG</b> t Code and assign that Object to you.

It will work.
