Hi experts,

Is this possible that i can do pretty painter for specific part of code.I mean i dont want to do pretty painter for whole program but only for a subroutine..is this possible??

yes..

it's possible.You can select subroutine code & use pretty printer option.

it should work.

hi,

select the block of code and then click on Pretty Printer. This should work. Also, this varies from version to version.

in menu Utilities~~->Settings~~->pretty printer

check out if there are any options available

Hi,

You can do that one, Just click the options of the Pretty Printer and select the perfect options, and while doing the Pretty printer select the the desired part and press the Pretty printer

hi gaurav

you may select the subroutine and then u can use pretty printer option. u you can either do it by using the tab of pretty printer or u can go from utilities--

> setiings--

> pretty printer.

Hi Experts

I tried but by selecting the code and using pretty printer option will do pretty printing for all the code.I dont want whole code pretty printed but a specific part of code only.So selecting and doing pretty printer is not working onmy system as desired.

What can we change in pretty printer settings to acheive this??

How to use above mentioned FM for particular code??

1. In menu Utilities~~->Settings~~>Select Pretty Printer Tab

2. Remove the check box for <b>Indent</b>

3.Now in ur code select the code u want to indent and click on pretty print button, it will work, i had checked

I tried with the given solution.But it is showing

' Pretty print not executed (it is switched off in the settings)'

So, it is not working as desired.

in pretty paiinter tab, no checkbox was clicked and above error i m getting.If it is working in your system that means it may vary from version to version.

Mine is R/3 Release 4.6C.

Check your system.But I am sorry to say that above mentioned solution is not working for me.
