External Mail Send Problem

Hi,

I have used the func module 'SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1'. to send mail

and I checked the MENU->Business workplace->outbox. and found the mails that I have send. but no mail has been received by the recepient.( OUTLOOK mail box )

Can any one please confirm me, where the problem prevails ? Whether any BASIS configuration required. or from ABAP side anything has to done.

Also I have checked up in SCOT tranaction there also I havent recevied any status of my mail

Please help me out from this problem

Is there a COMMIT WORK after the function mdoule or have u passed the COMMIT_WORK = 'X' to the function call? You can also check the status via Tcode SOST & see if there are any other errors..
