Production Order Confirmation BAPI

I am trying to create a production order confirmation and update the batch details in the goods movement using the bapi: BAPI_PRODORDCONF_CREATE_HDR

The confirmation gets created. However the material document is not getting posted. Any documentation / sample code on how to use the BAPI will be helpful.

Check this FM out....

PP_CATT_CONFBAPI_HDR..

This calls BAPI_PRODORDCONF_GET_HDR_PROP to get the proposed values for confirmation and then calls BAPI_PRODORDCONF_CREATE_HDR for confirmation..

Thanks. I used the "PROP" Bapi to get the default values using the order number and overwrote the quantities and batch. And it works!

First off, thanks for these posts. Worked for me, too.

Let me just add a little more clarification:

1) First you call BAPI_PRODORDCONF_GET_HDR_PROP

2) Then you must update the field ENTRY_QNT from the internal table you pass in to "goodsmovements" because function BAPI_PRODORDCONF_GET_HDR_PROP wipes that field out and you will miss the posting without this filled

3) Then you call BAPI_PRODORDCONF_CREATE_HDR with the same internal table you got back from the first function inclusive of you putting back ENTRY_QNT.

4) Commit work and wait.

So, in summary, the first fm is needed and the first fm changes some fields in the "goodsmovements" internal table that you really need to get the posting to work in the second fm.

And one more thing, the exact function that an earlier posted referenced to find out that both of the functions in this note were called together is: PP_CATT_CONFBAPI_HDR.

HI da i got the same problum plz help me out.

i am using bapi 'BAPI_PRODORDCONF_CREATE_TT'

for Production Order Confirmation and Goods Movement, i am getting message

'Confirmation saved' But If i check their is no Goods movement is happening,

i am passing Order confirmation data and Goods movement data(palnt, stg.loc, batch,mocement type, order id)

plz help me out da, its urgent Plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

I will rewar a points for this.

Please guide me how do you completed BAPI Production Order Confirmation because i have one same Prd Order confirmation task. Blindly i don't about it.
