Org.units structure/hierarchy

Hi all,

I need org.units hierarchy/structure. I think of a table with fields like org.unit id, parent org.unit id. The data should be suitable for building a tree later which will display the org.units hierarchy.

I read much in the forum, but I didn't find smth helpful.

Is there a function module which exports such a data?

Hi!

Well I don't know any function modules about it. I'm reading them directly from the table HRP1000, HRP1001. It is a bit complicated and requires a few hours till figures out the keys and the hierarchy (OBJID is the upper and SOBID is the lower level) in this table.

If no one will post a useful function module, you might try these tables.

I'll check back later maybe I can use a function module, if someone posts one...

But is it possible this function to return all the org.units and their hierarchy? Cause up to now I see that it returns the hierarchy only for the org.unit I pass as an input parameter.

Hi Ogniana,

i don't sure if I understood you. An hierarchy/Org Structure has one start point. This is the ID you have to give as input in the function module. What kind of objects are in the the result structure depends on the ACT_WEGID and on your

structure.

For example the start object is a object O.Than gives the function module with ACT_WEGID "O-O-S-P" all O,S,P of the structure.

I mean I need not only the hierarchy of one specific org.unit which to pass through ACT_OBJID but a tree with all org.unit's and their hierarchy.

For example:

org.id_1

org.id_4 (child of org.id-1)

org.id_5 (child of org.id-1)

org.id_2

org.id_6 (child of org.id-2)

org.id_3

Is this possible?

i don't know an special function module.But couldn't you call more than once

in your coding?!
