Error when creating subscreen for tabstrip...

Hello Experts,

I am currently practicing dialog programming and I am doing a tabstrip. In screen painter, when I try to create a subscreen named SUB1 and I put it in the length of say, 50 and height = 10 an error pops up saying: "Collision at target location. Operation not performed".

What seems to be the problem here? Help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot!

Hi,

See if the subscreen aea is not fitting in the screen area. Try to reduce the Subscreen area width and height so that it can be embedded inside the screen.

Also see that there are no other screen elements that are already there in the same area.

Hi,

after creating subscreenyou just drag it to the adjustable level. i mean make it minimize.

May be the size of the sub screen is too small for the sub screen area, try to change the size of the sub screen area.

Hi,

Always the area of the <b>subscreen/an element should be < area of the screen.</b> and there should not be any element already placed. <b>In screen you can't over ride place one element on the other.</b> While creating an element in screen we should remember these points.
