Current Session Lock Entries

Hi,

I want to read the locked objects, which are locked in other sessions other than the current session.

I don't need current session locking entries.

I tried with fm ENQUEUE_READ but it is giving all locked entries including current sesstion.

Any info on this.

Look at transaction SM12.

Would SM12 be anyhelp for you.

What actually you want to see.

SM12 gives a list of all LOCKS at an instant for each user and his/her sessions.

So, use ENQUEUE_READ and exclude entries from the current session.

Hi Rob,

The Output table SEQG3 coming from fm ENQUEUE_READ don't have any info related to current session.

In that case how will we filter the current session.

You can delete entries that have GUNAME = sy-uname from that Table.

you may have to identify by pasring the datetime stamp string in the field GUSRVB.

Well, I guess I see the problem now. I don't think SAP keeps track of the locks by session.

Hi,

I am facing the same sitauation but SM30 does lock by considering parallal sessions by same user.But it uses VIEW_ENQUEUE to check the locks.

So SAP does tracks locks by sessions.I hope i am right here in saying this.
