regarding Purchase order

hi all

I got task regarding report.

Description is ....

"Developed purchase orders listing between two given dates and sales by destination report"

Could any one please explian what is this ....

You need to speak to whoever you got the spec off. It could mean anything. For example it could mean Report on Purchase Orders that have been assigned to a delivery with a delivery date of (from...to...) by plant.

Hi Satya,

It is probably a report which woudl give a list of Purchase orders that were created in a range that was selected by th user in the selection screen.

The selection has also a filter based on the destination to which the goods were sent to.

But i think that ABAP has a trancsaction code ME21N,can we do the above task by this transaction code?

please tell me is it wrong or correct about my thinking.

HI Satya,

What you say is partially correct.

In a transaction you can only see the data of ONE purchase order at a time.

Suppose the user wants a list of all the purchase order, which have a common property(Like falling in a date range, having the same sold to party etc), you cannot see all the list of purchase orders in the same transaction(Me23n) to be precise.
