Problem for FI posting through BAPI for a ASSET NUMBER

Hi,

I am trying to post a FI document with a Asset number in the Account field through BAPI. But in all BAPIs I have checked the G/L Account field length is 10. Asset Number field length in 12. So, in which field I should pass the Asset Number value. Please suggest.

you must fill foll. fields:

asset number, sub number and transaction type (100 by purchase)

what's about bapi BAPI_ASSET_ACQUISITION_POST

here are the fields ASSETMAINO ASSETSUBNO ASSETTRTYP

in struc BAPIFAPO_GEN_INFO
