Applying OSS note with attachments

Hi All,

I am trying to implement one sap note. This note contain two attached files. Bot are having the file extension .SAR. How to implement such kind of OSS note.

Can you not use the transaction snote and compete any config updates manually.

ask ur Basis Person to Import these Files into ur Server.

these are called External Transport Requests , which contains Objects.

Hi!

They can be implemented with transaction SNOTE.

If this transaction is now working, you have to implement the NOTE mannually, by modifying the standard SAP programs.

Just follow the correction instructions within the note carefully!

Hi JJ,

In some cases , when objects are not present in Customer systems then SAP will provide objects in difff ways

1.Providing source code with in note as a attechments

2.Providing External trannsport Request, this request as same as ur normal transport requet which consists of CO and Data files.So we have to add these files to out TP buffer , after that we can import all these into ur DEV server and so on.

so ask ur basis person, i think we can give so good idea how this will works.

Hi,

If you have external files then you need to send them to your basis guy. he will upload and he will infor you about the uploading.
