smartform active version

Dear Experts

I have activated my copied smartform, the se38 program and I have also changed the name of my smartform with old one in the program, but I could not see my smartform getting executed. It is using the same active version for the purpose.

I will appreciate if anyone take some time out to answer this query.

Hi Vishal,

See what is the name of the layout that you pass to the fm: SSF_FUNCTION_MODULE_NAME. You have to change it too.

Hi,

Are you executing the Program directly or will it be triggerd from any transactions, if it is executed directly from the program, then make sure that you are using the Correct function module which the Smartform is generating.

if this is executing from a Transaction, then there will be some config,

Many thanks for your reply, but that I have already changed it, but is this a issue, it's been activated in development and I am using it in the quality where we have data. SO, what could be the reason.

Many thanks for your reply. Yes, we are using vf02 and then the entire processing is happening. So, what could be the configuration that can be done so that this can be resolved.

Have u attached the new version to a transport request and transported the same from DEV to QUALITY?

Many thanks for your reply. I haven't done this. Let me tell you what's happening here, I am changing and activating the smartform in client 300 and client 200 has data these both clients resides on the same server. I mean DEV and QA are same in this scenario.

Sorry for making the clarity at this stage. So, what could be the solution in this kind of situation.

Hi,

In taht case u have to do the configuration for attaching the new program name and FORM name to the transaction code.

U juts check the table <b>TNAPR</b>, specify teh output type in KSCHL and check the program name and form name attached.

If the new naems are not atatched to the output, then u have to do or ask the Functional people to configure teh same.

I did this also, I got an option to change the program name and the form name in the table TNAPR.

I suppose I need not to change it in both 300 and 200 clients, I think changing it in the client having data should solve the purpose.

Please confirm the same.

If u change it in the table it wont have any effect, the table is holding the values from the place they did the config changes.

U migh t have to do the same some where in SPRO.
