Any reason for using Photon? Use the latest version of Eclipse the plugins work seamlessly:)

nabheet.madan3 SAP recommends using Photon and Oxygen, Photon being the most recent version 🙂

Anyway the OP has an Eclipse issue (not ABAP)

should better tag the question ADT / Eclipse !

Agreed, for me the latest is working like a charm:) Eclipse recommends to use the latest so thought of trying it and it worked.

I don't use Eclipse but I simply copy-pasted the "No repository found..." part of the message in Google and it found tons of Stackoverflow posts. Because most were dated years ago I realized this must be a generic error and added "Photon" keyword. This lead me to this post and this post, among others.

As Sandra mentioned correctly, this is not an ABAP issue. I'd suggest to post such questions on SO or Eclipse forums.

Could it be that you have spaces in your eclipse directory name, eg. "Eclipse Photon for ABAP_eclipse". In earlier versions I had problems with such spaces. So i am not sure if this is the reason but maybe you give it a try and rename your directory to a name without spaces.

In most of the responses it was suggested to change the update site. I verified it and I am using the correct update site. I also followed the SAP note# 2402423 but no luck.

I recommend to try out the solution behind Jelenas first link. Remove the affected update site (Eclipse Andmore), restart Eclipse and add the update site again. Sounds strange, but it's worth to try.

I tried removing update site and updating it again but that didn't work for me.

I downloaded eclipse Photon (4.8) again and reinstalled ADT. It worked and came with latest version. For now I am closing this thread.
