go to se80 choose fn group give a z name there press enter it will show a popup to create.

Hi,

Go to SE37 Transaction.

From the menu GOTO-> FUNCTION GROUPs-> Create

You can create the group and use it in Table Maintenance Generator.

Goto SE80 --->press Edit Object ~~> it will show popup~~->select function group tab---- enter function group name -->F5

Function will get created

In SE80 u can create a fnction group and assign the same in Tbale maintenance.

Or else as simple just paste the table name in the space provided for Function group in the table maintenance and press create it will automatiaclally create all the relevant programs.

Save under a development class.

Hi,

table maintanance Generator is used to manually

input values using transaction sm30

follow below steps to create one:

1) go to se11 check table maintanance check box under

attributes tab

2) utilities-table maintanance Generator->

create function group (using Transaction SE80) and assign it under

function group input box.

also assign authorization group default &NC& .

select standard recording routine radio in table

table mainitainence generator to move table

contents to quality and production by assigning

it to request.

4) select maintaience type as single step.

5) maintainence screen as system generated numbers

this dialog box appears when you click on create

button

6) save and activate table

using sm30 you can create entries manually.

also check below thread to assign transaction code to

table generator

create transaction use se93

select parameter transaction and give below attributes

Transaction code ZTX1

Transaction text Maintain View ZSDCZTVIEW

Transaction SM30 Screen 0

From module pool

Name of screen field Value

VIEWNAME = ZSDCZTVIEW

UPDATE = X

IN Table view u can give ur table name and for function group give any name eg: table name itself

give default authorization object &NC&

Hi RP

This will Help you for Sure...

go to transaction SE11->Give Table for which you have to create table maintenence.

give display. next go to utilities->table maintenence

give authorization group as '&NC&'.

Function group Name same your table.

Maintenence type Ons Step.

Overview Screen 01(anynumber will do)

and click the new icon.

Table maintenence would be created .

Go to transaction SM30 to add and delete entries.

Hi,

U have created table with Table MAintenance allowed check box checked right?

Then after creating the fields in teh table u save it actiavte it.

Now goto the table maintenance generator and it will ask for Authorisation group, then Function grp, copy an paste the table name there in Funct. grp.

Then press create button in teh top left corner it will ask for devl. class.

Now let me know if this works.

hi Rp,

I think u hav to activate the function group .

hope u may know how to create function group in se37.

here is the way to activate it....

just goto se37 ---> enter function group name ---> Environment ( in the main menu ) ---> inactive objects.

right click your fun group. activate it.

it will vanish.now it is 100% activated.

check it out.
