Hi All,

I added few of my reports to Area Menu Report Tree using 'insert on same level' option in Dev. I tried to save the changes and it asked for Transport request, so I created a new transport req and saved.

Is this the proper way to add my reports to report tree? Because after saving I did not see the changes.

Please help me.

Hi,

This is the way to add the transaction to the Area menu, just run the Area menu, you will get the updated one

Yes, this is the correct way to add it. Where are you looking that you don't see the changes? If you want to see the changes in another client, you have to release your transport request first and have it pushed to that client.

After adding the reports, I saved it but no option to run. I want to see the changes in the same client only. So that I can transport to another client.

To run it just back out after saving. Then click on "display" from the "area menu maintenance" screen (transaction SE43).
