Hi,

I have a note to be applied, I have the Note number as 919538. I am doing it for the first time. How do i do this ? Can some one guide me ?

Hi,

You can use the transaction SNOTE..

Go to SNOTE..

Download the note..

And then implement the note..

I don't think you will be able to use SNOTE for this.

But the instructions are pretty straightforward. If you follow them step by step, you should be OK.

Be carefull when you are implementing notes... Is not as easy as going to SNOTE, download the note and click in implement note button.

You have to read it, check if you have to do any modification by hand (you can find this in the Solution part). This modifications could be adding a field to a table, creating a new report, etc. You MUST do it BEFORE clicking the implement note button.

You have to check if you have prerequisite notes and for this notes you have to follow the same steps.

Sometimes a note appears with the grey square, that means that you can't implement the note, but it really means that the note doesn't have an automatic correction. Maybe it has only manual corrections. You have to check this.

I never click on implement note without reading the note.

Yes, clicking the implement note implements the note and all the prerequisites, but what happens if you have to do something BEFORE?

The most important thing is to read the note....

So, it's not as simple as clicking a button as others told you.

Guys, if you don't want to take the time to explain, don't do it, but don't give this kind of answers. Sometimes it looks easy for you but nobody started knowing everything...

Thanks Rob & Bettina for taking your time and replied me with patience. As Bettina said I had to do some manual changes unlike implementing it directly. I read the note and followed the instructions. Thanks again for more explanation.

Transaction SNOTE is extremely useful in implementing notes. It didn't work in this case, but if you tried to use it, you probably would have gotten a message saying it couldn't be implemented. So, although it wouldn't work, you couldn't do any harm with it.

Hi,

I have a note to be applied,The partner profit center (BSEG-PPRCT) and trading partner (BSEG-VBUND) fields are not included in the standard R/3 G/L fast entry template.However, notes 2596 / 25187 can be used to add these fields to

to the fast entry template.

But when I see the Note number 2596 in SNOTE transaction the implementation status is shown as 'Cannot be implemented'. Could you please suggest in this regard.
