Transaction variant

Hi All,

I have created a transaction variant for VA01 transaction to make a particular screen field (region) mandatory. When I am testing this transaction variant from shd0, the screen field is being displayed as mandatory. But the same is not getting reflected in VA01.

How can I assign the z transaction variant to VA01?

Pls help.
