How to test print program?

Hi all,

I have created a script ZF140_MUSIC_1 and print program ZRFKORD10

which is copy of standard driver program RFKORD10 . I want test this script.

I would like to know how to test this print ptogram? I mean, i want print it on paper.

HI,

press print button.

goto SP01-> F8-> select the spool request and print it from there

SORRY CAN NOT GET YOU IN SE38 RUN THE PRINTPROGRAM IT WILL ASK FOR PRINTER NAME AND ALL THE INFORMATION ABOUT PRINTER JUST PRINT FROM THERE. BUT BEFORE THAT YOU HAVE TO ASSIGN YOUR FORM NAME IN THE PRINT PROGRAM OPEN_FORM FM.

Goto <b>SE71 > Display > Utiilities > Test Print.</b>

Did you assign the output type??

Output type will be assigned in NACE tcode where output type will help to attach print program and layout.

If you have output type,then go to Tcode for which you have created the layout(for examply sales order display(va03)..

select va03 and select output type in va03 and select print preview or print.

hi shiva,

to test this... first Goto~~NACE~~>configure the Output type~~>in this give ur print program name and Script name~~>then~~>give the perform which has to call in the driver program... then goto the purticular transaction~~which u want to use this Script... (example-->VF02 if the Script is related to Invoice..)

in that Tcode~~>select a document menu bar~~> Goto~~>Header~~>Output~~>then enter the Output type name which u have configured in NACE..->then select the Communication Method Button~~> here enter the Output device name.

then come back to main screen..-->main menuu-> issue output.

follow all the above steps
